The SPIN program is an obedience training and behavior program. Inmates work daily to make the canines the best possible companion pet for adoption.
Select inmates at the CCA Moore Haven prison spend 24 hours a day for 12 to 15 weeks
of training eight of our dogs at a time. There are estimated 16 inmates in our program

After the training period, the canines return to our shelter for a stay until adopted into their forever home. Since 12/ 2010 to 12/2011, 25 canines graduated from the program 24 of those canines have been re homed. The one left is still at our shelter waiting for his forever home.
This program is a great way to rehabilitate and bond both humans and animals. Our
